Vagina is a primary part of the female reproductive organ.
Scientifically speaking, vagina performs the following functions: providing path for menstrual fluids to leave the body, giving birth and sexual activities.

The concentration of nerve endings around the vaginal muscles can provide a satisfactory level of sexual sensation during a sexual activity. Arousal can be a result of sexual stimulation of a partner or by self stimulation (masturbation). When the woman is aroused or sexually stimulated up to a certain point, the vagina secretes fluids that act as natural lubrication for a penis so it can slide in with ease.
There are quite a number of sexual activities that involves the vagina. Examples of sexual activities involving the vagina are oral sex, masturbation, vaginal sex, etc.
