Penis is a part of the male external genitalia. Penis is used as the a the reproductive organ and additionally as organ of urination.

Rising and erection of the penis happens every time a male is aroused, though sometimes it happens when not aroused. Erection occurs because of the increased blood flow in the tissues and blood vessels in the penis. Once the blood supply in the penis is stable it will erect in its full length and girth. After an intense sexual stimulation like sexual intercourse, the penis will ejaculate and release seminal fluid containing sperm cells.
A penis may or may not be circumcised depending on the choice of person. Circumcision is the procedure where the foreskin of penis is cut or removed. Circumcision is a widely debated topic depending on a society, culture and religion.
