Bukkake is a sexual practice wherein a female is ejaculated upon by multiple men or women.
Bukkake is a popular pornography niche especially in Japan. It is not clear where the term bukkake came from but some theories suggest that Japanese pornography producers were the first to use the term in the early 1970s. The term bukkake simply means “splash” in Japanese. The term is also used in Japan to describe a pouring out of liquids with enough force to cause splashing.
The origin of bukkake remains uncertain, but it is presumed that this pornography niche was developed to bypass the mosaic censorship laws in Japan. Only actual vaginal or anal penetration were censored in Japan and producers saw this loophole came up with other ways of portraying ejaculation. Semen is also not required to be censored so Japanese producers were able to create a unique way of showing hardcore scenes without violating the censorship laws.
